We're immensely proud of the unique products that our community and meteorologists have created to improve people's access to meaningful weather data from around the globe. As the Internet's 1st weather service, we consider ourselves pioneers within our field and we're constantly seeking new data sets and the next technologies that will help us share more data with more people.

Dear Madam / Sir, I am a citizen of Kosovo and regular user of www.wunderground.com. I am extremely disappointed to find that while selecting different cities for displaying of weather information, the names and information is not displayed correctly. Only the cities Prishtina and Prizren are displayed as Prishtina, Kosovo and Prizren, Kosovo. The rest of the cities only contain the abbreviation KV. I would like to kindly draw your attention towards updating this information. As you might be aware, Kosovo has declared independence and so far has been recognized as a country by 100+ UN member states, including United States, UK and the vast majority of EU countries. In attempt to clarify further the Kosovo’s declaration of independence, in response to Serbia’s question on legality of this act, the International Court of Justice on 22 of July 2010 concluded on its decision “that the adoption of the declaration of independence of 17 February 2008 did not violate general international law, Security Council resolution 1244 (1999) or the Constitutional Framework. Consequently the adoption of that declaration did not violate any applicable rule of international law.” (see para. 122 of the Court’s decision: http://www.icj-cij.org/docket/files/141/15987.pdf). This unambiguous wording of the World Court, a principle organ of the United Nations, should be seen as a primary reference when considering any issue with regard to Kosovo’s statehood and its place in international relations. Kosovo has one of the youngest population in whole Europe. We are keen internet users. Please do not deny us our rightful place as part of the global online generation, we simply want to be able to choose the option which best defines where we are from, while using www.wunderground.com Your supportive response would be of invaluable help to overcome a technological barrier that affects online users from Kosovo attempting to utilize www.wunderground.com experience as they seek to receive their information in Kosovo.
