Dear Madam / Sir, I take this opportunity to draw your attention that, at the moment your database lists incorrectly Pristina as part of Serbia. We would profoundly appreciate if you could kindly address our request and list Pristina, Kosovo in database instead of Pristina, Serbia as its now displaying. Pristina is the capital of Republic of Kosovo which declared independence in 2008. In attempt to clarify further the Kosovo’s declaration of independence, in response to Serbia’s question on legality of this act, the International Court of Justice on 22 of July 2010 concluded on its decision “that the adoption of the declaration of independence of 17 February 2008 did not violate general international law, Security Council resolution 1244 (1999) or the Constitutional Framework. Consequently the adoption of that declaration did not violate any applicable rule of international law.” (see para. 122 of the Court’s decision: http://www.icj-cij.org/docket/files/141/15987.pdf). This unambiguous wording of the World Court, a principle organ of the United Nations, should be seen as a primary reference when considering any issue with regard to Kosovo’s statehood and its place in international relations.
