Dear Madam / Sir,
I take this opportunity to draw your attention that, at the moment your database provided by UBM Aviation Limited lists incorrectly Pristina International Airport of websites of the various airports across Europe. Earlier we have reached Brussels Airport and Helsinki Airport who both referred us to contact you directly. We would profoundly appreciate if you could kindly address our request and list Pristina, Kosovo in database instead of Pristina, Serbia as its now displaying. Pristina is the capital of Republic of Kosovo which declared independence in 2008.
In attempt to clarify further the Kosovo’s declaration of independence, in response to Serbia’s question on legality of this act, the International Court of Justice on 22 of July 2010 concluded on its decision “that the adoption of the declaration of independence of 17 February 2008 did not violate general international law, Security Council resolution 1244 (1999) or the Constitutional Framework.
Consequently the adoption of that declaration did not violate any applicable rule of international law.” (see para. 122 of the Court’s decision: http://www.icj-cij.org/docket/files/141/15987.pdf). This unambiguous wording of the World Court, a principle organ of the United Nations, should be seen as a primary reference when considering any issue with regard to Kosovo’s statehood and its place in international relations.
Your supportive response would be of invaluable help to overcome a technological barrier that affects passengers attempting to utilise online service as they seek to accommodate their journey to Kosovo.
On behalf of myself and Digital Kosovo initiative, I would like to thank you in advance for taking this issue into consideration.
